Mission

The Hudson River Valley Wine and Culinary Center is a not-for-profit educational institution intended to educate and inform visitors about New York food and wine with special focus on the Hudson River Valley. The Center will include a strong emphasis on experiential learning and exploration. Building upon the best of regional food and wine traditions, the Center will not be a museum, but will inform and educate visitors through a lively, interactive festival marketplace celebrating regional food and wine.

Upon entering the Center, visitors will immediately encounter the sights and aromas of the Valley’s culinary traditions. At it essence, the Center will directly employ the evocative powers of food and wine themselves to entice visitors to explore and appreciate the Hudson Valley’s culinary legacy and the wines of both the Valley and New York State as a whole.
